I am drawn to the human experience, its wonder, its tensions, and the extraordinary beauty that lives in the balance between the two. Illustration is how I explore that territory. My work is textured and warm, graphic but never cold, simplified in form but layered in feeling. I illustrate to connect and to capture a moment, a feeling, a truth worth holding a little longer. I try to find the quiet, human truth inside a concept and make it something you can feel before you fully understand it.

Princess Missy

Written as a bedtime story, this tale follows Missy, a young heroine who wears a hearing aid and glasses. As she seeks to defeat the village monster she develops new friendships, and discovers that one thing we all have in common is that we’re all unique in our own way.
